Mould threatens the health of people and pets. As it grows, it can even damage the structural integrity of a building, destroying floors, ceilings and even the foundations of a home or business.
The presence of mould in a home or in a workplace can generate adverse health problems for those who reside or work there.
On-site sampling conducted by The Green Medic is crucial to determine if mould may have spread to other areas, as mould can be present even if there are no signs of visible growth.
Mould spores in the air can be inhaled and are known to cause serious adverse health problems to both humans and pets such as:

The Green Medic Mould Assessment Technician will visit your site for a comprehensive Mould Assessment.
This assessment will take approximately 3 hours. This process will help identify issues and can involve:
· Indoor and outdoor biological testing of air, moisture and humidity levels. (Some testing such as surface swabs and air samples may need analysing using an off-site laboratory and this may be at an extra cost)
· Investigating and establishing the cause of water damage and moisture ingress, in and around the building
· Identifying the presence of hidden mould or moisture through testing procedures
· Establishing the boundary of fungal particulate spread
· Documenting and measuring the level of identified mould or moisture
· Provide qualified recommendations for remediation of any existing moisture and mould problems
· If requested further sampling of the air and surfaces for mould species growth will be conducted and sent for analysis by a certified laboratory. (This is at extra cost)
· Provide a written report of findings
· Provide the latest scientific evidence for the impact of dampness on human health
· Provide protection strategies against the re-emergence of mould
· Provide Post-remediation testing and verification. This is to verify the standard of remediation and that the building has been returned to normal mould ecology before re-occupancy. This is known as Mould Post Remediation Verification (PRV) or Mould Clearance.
· Provide Naturopathic integrative pathological testing and treatment support for persons experiencing mould related health problems (This is at extra cost)
